We are looking for an experienced UX designer to join us at our new Metrohm DropSens office in Asturias and to bring their drive and creativity to our 9 person UX team spread across Switzerland, Slovakia and Spain. We are working with 12 Scrum teams to develop our OMNIS software for managing our Metrohm laboratory instruments. Don’t worry, no chemical knowledge is required, the robots handle all of that!

About the Role:

We are looking for a new team member with a diverse set of skills in the field of human-centered design methods, user research and conceptual design. You will work with cross-functional teams (product owners, business analysts, software developers, testers) and collaborate with your colleagues from the UX Team. Are you a curious, proactive and empathetic team player? Then you might be the right person for us.

Your key responsabilities:

You'll work closely with scrum teams, supporting software developers and during the implementation process, reviewing the product output and providing guidance.
You'll lead and collaborate in design sprints, workshops, and ideation sessions, promoting creativity and shaping your product design concepts.
You'll work with business analysts to form and refine effective requirements that lead to positive outcomes for our users.
You'll conduct valuable user research, gathering key insights and experimenting with a wide range of techniques.
You'll be an essential voice within our organisation, presenting findings and concepts whilst working closely with stakeholders and teams to align and ensure the most valuable features find their way into the product.
You'll be responsible for promoting UX/design thinking principles and driving activity in your teams and projects.

Skills:

Several years of working experience with human-centered design methods (e.g. User Research, Prototyping etc.).
Analytical skills and quick understanding of complex situations.
Enjoy working in a fast-paced English speaking environment.
Ability to produce clear and concise presentations and reports (in English).
Flair for design and experience in using design and prototyping tools.
High English language level required. Spanish medium-level.
