Interdigitated gold electrode with heater

IDEAU200-HPT-WB

Description

Interdigitated electrodes (IDE) are electrochemical platforms that include two interdigitated electrodes. The variation on the material of the electrode and the size and the separation of the digits makes them suitable for different applications enhancing sensitivity and detection limits

Features

Number of WEs: 2 WE
Working electrode material: Gold
Contacts material: Gold
Substrate material: Ceramic
Substrate size: Length: 2.29 cm x Width: 0.76 cm
Substrate thickness: 0.05 cm
Main features:

Single to use sensors that eliminate the electrode maintenance. Specially designed to work with microvolumes, this inexpensive miniaturized solution presents high reproducibility making them ideal for working in decentralized assays or to develop (bio)sensors in environmental, clinical or agri-food areas.

Possible applications:

Recommended for the development of gas sensors by
depositing a sensing layer (semiconductor metal oxide) in the interdigitated area. Development of (bio)sensing applications in multiple sectors and fields.

Additional information:

Bondable contacts allow wire bonding process. On the other side, a Platinum heater can be used to control the operating temperature in the sensing layer, due to the high thermal conductivity of the ceramic substrate used in this device.

Packaging: 50 units per pack
Storage: At room temperature, protected from light in a dry place.
Suitable connectors: Wire bonding
