Main features:

Single to use sensors that eliminate the electrode maintenance. Specially designed to work with microvolumes, this inexpensive miniaturized solution presents high reproducibility making them ideal for working in decentralized assays or to develop (bio)sensors in environmental, clinical or agri-food areas. The different modifications applied to the working electrode provide an enhanced active area and improve the electron-transfer properties.

Possible applications:

These disposable Screen-Printed Carbon Electrodes (SPCEs) are modified with a hydrogen ionophore in the working electrode. They are designed for detecting protons making possible pH monitoring since the potential can be easily correlated with the pH of the solution. Recommended for working with microvolumes and are ideal for decentralized and ‘in situ’ assays.
