Additional information:

According to European regulations, the labelling of drinks containing more than 1.2% by volume of alcohol must indicate the actual volumetric alcoholic strength. Due to the health and legal importance that implies showing the alcohol content of a beer in its label, it is important to determine its percentage with good precision and selectivity.

The main goals in this laboratory teaching kit are studying the establishment of a calibration curve and the determination of the alcohol content in samples of commercial beers by employing a fast and easy electrochemical assay.
