Determination of chloride in synthetic sweat

PL7

Description

Laboratory kits for educational purposes that allow students with or without electrochemical experience to complement their academic programs by an inquiry-based learning on research experiences.

Features

Additional information:

The determination of chloride in synthetic sweat plays a key role in the early diagnosis of cystic fibrosis (CF) in people of all ages.
People with CF have a high level of chloride in sweat. In voltammetric sensors the analytical signal usually employed is the peak
current generated when a suitable potential window is scanned. This peak current is related to the concentration of the analyte.
The main objectives of this didactic laboratory kit are the establishment of a calibration curve to study the accuracy of the procedure
for the determination of chloride in synthetic sweat samples
